About this role

Freightwing Logistics builds routing, tracking, and warehouse management software used by 400+ logistics companies across India and Southeast Asia. The SDE-2 role is on the core routing team — the system that determines how millions of packages move through our clients' networks daily.

You'll own feature development, participate in on-call rotation, and contribute to architecture discussions within your pod. The team runs two-week sprints and ships to production multiple times per sprint.

This is a growth-stage company with clear paths to SDE-3 and tech lead. Engineers who take ownership of results — not just tasks — move fast here.

What we're looking for

• ✓2–5 years of backend engineering experience, ideally with microservices in production
• ✓Proficiency in Node.js or Go; comfort reading and writing SQL against PostgreSQL
• ✓Experience with REST API design, service-to-service communication, and debugging distributed systems
• ✓Understanding of software delivery practices — CI/CD, feature flags, observability basics
• ✓Ability to take a feature from spec to production with limited hand-holding
• ✓Bonus: experience in logistics, mapping, or geospatial domains
